WPD is a very well-known keyword in the world of postcards. It stands for World Postcard Day (WPD). Every year, World Postcard Day is celebrated on the 1st day of October month. Are you a postcard lover? Then, 1st October is something you should look forward to on the calendar.

The world postcard community celebrates WPD by sending postcards to their loved and dear ones on this day. Meets are organised where people gather in groups and exchange postcards. People leverage social media to discuss and agree to exchange (or popularly known as 'Swap') postcards with postcard enthusiasts from around the World.

There is a special group of artists or content creators around the World who design innovative, creative, and beautiful postcards. I am a novice who is learning the art of postcard-design by observing the postcards floating from one postbox to the other and getting reflected in the social media out there.

Postcards are generally created on various themes like sports, animals, vehicles, people, dance, movies, arts, paintings, cultures, fruits, cities, flags, counties, festivals, rituals, and so on. Special postcards are created for special occasions. You guessed it right! WPD is indeed a special day or an occasion. And so is the WPD Postcard.

I had seen WPD series of postcards last year where one central idea was used to create a series of postcards that differed from country to country in design, keeping the core theme same. So, this year, I tried my hand at designing a WPD postcard. I created WPD India theme for my own interest. I showed it to my family and close friends. They encouraged me to extend the WPD theme for few other countries. I did that and it looked "Cute". I shared it over social media similar to my previous postcard designs. Guess what? WPD is indeed different to any other themes I have ever designed! People from around the World appreciated my WPD design and asked me to create one for their country! That's how my WPD postcard design grew from just few countries to massive 50 country series today!!!😅

Many requests came to me to release all designs somewhere. So, that's why this blog! I'm posting here all my original WPD Mailman Series designs. I encourage people to download and print their country designs and swap/exchange with other country postcard enthusiasts. It's more fun that way! 🤗

🙏🏼Request you not to edit the design or Credits please. Front and Rear designs are published for India and Front design is published for all other countries. Rear design remains same for all countries in this WPD Mailman Series. I have not sold my designs to anyone but offered them for FREE! Pls avoid selling it. 🙏🏼

👉🏼Note: The WPD Mailman Postcards are designed to standard 4x6inch size and are recommended to be printed on 300gsm Matte paper for better quality & appearance. 🤗
